Loving the water action on the Avo's buddy and the last frame better find a spot on the wall
Amazing detail in these Kirk and your techs are impressive as always! Clarity of #3 is mind blowing and the light for the opener is so fine bro!!!
Another outstanding series from the "pond" with some of the best stuff I've seen on the board this year

I need a new emoticon for this set my friend
#2 such a nice shot to the eye and bill I would be inclined to bring the crop further up the back for less distraction
#5 unique and I really like the element that forces my mind to see those eyes pop open!
#7 Fabulous Just fabulous Kirkster
I need to find me zone like this soon, sure is amazing to see at this angle.
Karl
Thanks Karl, so much appreciated my friend.
I really like #2 as is, one of my favorites in fact... but I certainly can see that a tighter crop could be even better... I'm trying it for sure.
Thanks for the love on the Avocet pics... they're so much fun to watch and shoot, it's actually pretty easy to always get some killer images.
As always, thanks for the very thoughtful and helpful feedback.

I'll give you nits
1 I like it just the way it is
2 my least favorite of the set, maybe the body blur is too much for me (talk about nits )
3 oh yeah baby!!!
4 looks like he is in the deep end of the pool. Cool to him so deep
5 love the sheath of water on the head
6 well titled
7 like this better than 6 but if this wasn't here 6 would be my favorite This one rocks Kruk
There you have it, you come out swinging and knock most of them out of the park with the worst being a ground rule double
Hey buddy, many thanks for the good words and very thoughtful nits... much appreciated.
#2 is one of my favorites as-is, but several others have mentioned a tighter crop working better so I'm definitely going to try it... but hey... I'll take a ground rule double every time.

Beautiful work, Kirk! Great angles and great isolation of the subjects. The images are clean and sharp and the bg are silky smooth.
While 3 and 7 are my favorites I'm with Tim about the second shot.
I really enjoyed the set
Socrate
Thanks so much for the overall kind words and feedback on #2 Socrate... even though I like it as-is, a tighter crop might very well make it more pleasing.

Where was I when these were posted . Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow Standing ovation
Nits -- only that I can't take shots like this .
Were you in a kayak or just laying on the ground?
Birdie
Oh thank you so much for your wonderful words Birdie, most appreciated.
This eye level photography is my favorite but it does take a toll as it requires lying on my stomach for long stretches and patiently waiting for the birds to eventually wander over to me.
