Those are super photos Fred. Are they all single exposures? That looks like an amazing place. I'm glad your camera gear survived the moist spray. Thanks for sharing.
Todd
They were all single exposures. The lighting was soft and I didn't find the need for bracketing.
I kept drying my lens after every exposure and went back to the hotel drenched.
It was all worth it though. I still remember the sound and amazing light from that late afternoon.
Wow... what sweet shots! You really nailed it, and it was worth the constant lens cleaning to get these. It's hard to choose between one of the other, I like the vertical shot a lot, but the wider view in #2 is really special along with a bit more drama in the sky.

I won't lie. All that water spraying can get in your nerves...
This was my second sunset attempt and up until that late afternoon, I had not seen any sun light. All of the sudden, at the perfect time, the heavy clouds gave me a break! Those 10 minutes where worth the trip!
Wow, impressive work, Fred. I think I like the first the best from the comp. standpoint but the second adds some extra perspective, which I like too. Those 10 mins were definitely worth the trip.
Hi Fred bom dia, I had travel to brasil several times and probably will continue doing so in the far future, my question to you is what other locations in brasil are must see places for landscape shooters, i know the country is HUGE but at least top 4, obrigado.

Way to go, Fred! You must have had a great time, thanks for sharing it with us in such a spectacular way. BTW, this lets me ask a question I've been meaning to do for a few days. Why are there some posts where I can't find the "like" sign? 'cause I sure you have liked to "like" it...
Thanks philber. Currently the 'like' button is only available for replies. I prefer not having it on "first posts" to encourage members to post comments instead of just linking a thread.
We expect to be there at end of November, but we'll be over on the Argentine side.
I would love to get a few shots even 1/2 as good as yours.
Art
Art,
I didn't have a chance to visit the Argentinian side because of my limited time there. I have been told that the view is just as nice if not even better over there.
I am looking forward to seeing your waterfall pictures!

Amazing shots Fred! The first that I have seen of this waterfall with great lighting.
Thanks Helen,
There are a lot of online pictures showing the waterfall with a rainbow. Unfortunately the rainbow appears a couple hours after sunrise and the lighting has a different quality to it.

No reason for me to try to pick a favorite, Fred... I absolutely love them all!
Among the world's natural treasures- I've seen my fair share- but I regret that I missed Iguaçu Falls.
These fine images remind me of what I missed.
But thanks anyway .
Charlie
Thanks Charlie,
Whenever you can, I highly recommend a trip to southern Brazil.
