I made a quick trip to JTNP over the weekend. Took my astrotrac but the sky was too bright to use the device effectively.
I did not have my long lens to take a close up shot of the moon but decided to use the wide angle lens for this composition.
Thanks Tuan Le for your advice. Really appreciate it.
20 sec, ISO 400, F4, single exposure and some light painting.
Comments are critique are welcome.

I like the rendition in safari. IE looks too saturated.
Glad you found it Harsha. Too bad about the conditions for your Astrotrac but I knew you would treat the subject well. Great job with the light painting.

- terrible how difficult it is to show your shots like you want to on the web! I regularly have a websized version that looks great in PS, but somehow looks less pleasing when posted.
Light and shadows play nicely here Harsha. The comp is strong with these basic elements. That tree does so much for this shot IMO, incredible exposure and 'paint with light' treatment
Warmth in stone and wood and coolness in the sky work well here, super shot buddy!
Beautiful shot Harsha. I think you nailed the light painting! And the cloud cover really enhances this. Congratulations on planning and the execution also.
Nice shot! I got a nice one the other night myself with that moon. Its kinda cool to think we were all (alot of photographers) were shooting and looking at that moon from different places that night

Harsha- you found a nifty tree and a nifty rock and worked them both into a fine composition that included the moon.
Then you captured and processed the whole shebang with first-rate skill.
A good evening's work and a terrific image.
