I went to dinner tonight with the Mrs. and my daughter at a nice steakhouse in Boston. Just by chance, they seated us in front of a window with beautiful natural light pouring in from the late day sun. I mean, really people! What did you expect would happen
Canon 5D Mark III
Canon 50mm f1.2
Taken at f2 1/80th ISO 400
Another beautiful photo of your daughter. Thanks for posting Russ. I took a look at the larger image on your Flickr feed - is there some camera shake? Personally I can't get clean shots @ 1/80th with my 50mm most of the time so it's not a criticism. It just looks like the slightest hint of ghosting. Or maybe it's just the lens?

Looks like mis focus, it's common with the 50mm lenses.

Soft eyes, though. Watch out for those.
The near eye is sharp and the far one is soft due to DOF ... but not much anyone can do about that in a profile shot of this type ... not without introducing distracting background elements. This is an excellent shot.
