Convergence of my professional-fashion post processing career and my passion for landscape photography. For this project I worked with the very beautiful and talented "MeTa". We planned this concept a year in advance. MeTa made this amazing dress and head piece. We waited for the fall colors of Devils Lake State Park, WI to peak. Finally the day came, and everything came together. Our wonderful makeup was done by a spectacular artist - Emily Stoffels . Shot with a single light 400 watt/second light (dialed down 2+ stops to maintain a natural light exposure) using a photogenic ion, pocket wizards III, D800E at 50mm f/1.4 and 200m f/2.8, processed in LR and Photoshop CC.
Photos will be published in Linger Magazine, Elements Magazine, and Elegant Magazine ( print and digital )
Matt, this is breathtaking! Nice job planning, great execution on everyone involved. Just love how the yellow played so well, never thought I'd like so much yellow in a shot. But this is just killer! Great job!
You have it all going on here; great concept, lighting, color, makeup and model. It must have been tough to get those leaves to stick on to to the model during the entire shoot.

Like the crop of the 1st image the best, but the whole series is very good. Great job by the stylist, MUA, model and photographer. Wonderful lighting and post work on the images. Congrats

Lighting is great, poses are excellent, composition is superlative !
Your make-up artist did a fantastic job IMHO.
Really like the dress. Not a big fan of the headpiece. I think it works well in the portraits, but not so well in the full body shots, but I'm sure it achieves the goals you had for the shoot.
Really excellent location for the shoot. Your passion for landscape photography really shows.
Thanks for posting the excellent work, and giving the information on your lighting set-up.
