The first problem is that the whole internet knows the 5dII does not have enough resolution for landscape anymore so what camera did you really use for this amazing shot :-)). I love the detail, the colors....really a beautiful capture!!

Quite a unique and interesting composition here. However, I do feel that the foreground is too dominant, and the way the middle ridge blocks the middle mitten formation bothers me. If you were able to place the camera a bit higher you would have avoided that overlap and also minimized the foreground just a touch. The red channel is super intense here, but it kind of looks good. Still, I would play around with some color shifts towards blue just a bit to try to bring out a hair more blue in the sky to offset this martian color palette.
Hey, I was surprised to see this pop back up here again. I messed with the color a while back but never reposted it. I just finished wedding season so I've done zero landscape work as of late. Yes Greg, we all know the 5dII is an antiquated piece of s*** : ) What would they say if they found out half of my work is still done with a 1dsII haha. As for the butte being slightly blocked, I honestly never even noticed it when I was composing the shot. It was far off and I was more concerned with eliminating the road (enter tunnel vision). I didn't want to clone anything out. It doesn't bother me really and considering it's 3000 miles away I probably won't make it back anytime soon.
Here is one revision I messed with. It still may be off but this was a tricky one to make look natural. It was one of those pastel southwest sunsets that ends up raining saturation. Thanks again for all of the advice everyone.
*edit* Honestly, my browser/lightroom color is so off compared to one another I'll probably pull my hair out before I get it to look right online so if this looks jacked I'm sorry
