The 800 in your hands produced some fantastic detail Herb. Adding the 1.4x is icing on the cake.

You should come and shoot the chicks in a few weeks. I'm thinking of inviting a pile of people out for them.

Love these Herb. The low eyeline, tight framing, crisp critical focus. The foam line, walking in the air, stepping with crab - brilliant. Sorry to be so gushy but absolutely delightful to see first thing in the morning (UK time). Bligh me I can hear the waves! You captured the bird and behavior beautifully as well as the scene of place. Uncommon to see. Excellent.
