VERY nice, msoomro. I really like the strip of rich brown in the foreground. I like gloom lots more than most, so I would have at least tried to darken the lower levels to increase contrast. I also like high-aspect-ratio images more than most, so probably I would have cropped a bit from the top...
...but it's YOUR image, not mine, and it's better than anything I've gotten from the Palouse.
Beautiful shades of greens and love the rolling hills. The only suggestion would be to possible crop out the very bottom that is almost black. The dark space just draws my eye towards the bottom where in fact the real action is further into the photo.
@ Chaz / Jaffery . Good suggestions. I see what u mean, and how current crop/spect ratio is not getting the best out of the image. Will make a second pass. Thx

Beautiful image. If you brush a 10 to 20% dodge brush in those black areas they start to show some of the green that is hidden there and it looks even better then. I would also clone out the sliver of gold in the bottom black area. Dave
