I went to the burrow where the prior week I saw a pair of adults, but this time no adults or chicks. Not sure what happened but something pretty terrible must have taken place. I was between Ephrata and Moses Lake.
Thanks Louie, I am somewhat concerned that the number of nests has declined by about eighty percent the last five years so hope they are just relocating to new burrows. These were in Othello. Bruce
