For you climbers and mountain lovers, here are some images from a flight around Denali that I took in June. All images were taken with the Nikon D4S and the Nikon 28-300mm VR lens.
Really great pics! I have always wanted to take the flights but never seem to find the time when I'm there. Your photos move this to the top of my 'Must Do' list. Thanks for sharing.
Great series you have, well done. I know how tough it can be to get good shots from a plane. I've had the same flight, as well as flights over Grand Canyon, Arches and Canyonlands. But, the good ones are very special, like these.

Thanks so much for your comments. If you are ever near Talkeetna on a reasonably clear day, I highly recommend taking one of the flights there. It is even more stunning that any images can convey. The scale is hard to imagine.
