Now that one's eye is caught, the detail within the image keeps my interest. The b/w you picked to convert are excellant. No conflicts in color spectrum when converting that would screw the contrast up. In all you could be 100ft away and all sturcture withing the frame would retain is organization only on a wider expanse. Point being you can defocus your eyes at a wider point and the basic elements/structure remain intact.

Thanks for your thoughts here. The monochromes converted well and the structures of the sands really popped in the conversion. I was pretty surprised with the soft light but there was just enough sun through the holes in the clouds to make it work. Thanks again!
