Hi Jim - As I remember, I was on my belly with the cam about 4" above the salt. The Zeiss is good for that...
This was shoot late October of 2010....

Yeah, that low down view works well there. I need to get down on my belly next time I guess!

Super cool image Zeph. Congrats on the great light.

I might be tempted to reduce purple and maybe cyan/blue in the land just a hair. But I like it as is, as well. Nice job.
