Read the 40 thread it’s a very interesting lens. I have a really good copy and it’s has some really interesting looks to it but even stopped down it gets landscape type as early as 5.6 in corners. It is actually very close to the 65 on center at F2 which really surprised me . I have Big Bronco tests on both lenses in the forum. Check them out if you get a chance. BTW a think the 40 was on sale not sure though. I’ll look
I really like sharpness, color, micro contrast of this lens, 65/2. This thread’s too toxic. I ordered one and it will be here Friday. I didn’t have manual focus lenses for a long time so now I need to practice. Hope it’s easy with a7rm3.

Here are the 1:1 screenshot showing the corners from the image above.
jpeg compressed 9 with regular Lightroom sharpening. It's hard to beat this lens for landscapes when the focal length is right.
Just got the CV 65/2 today after I missed delivery yesterday. Wow, CameraQuest shipped overnight for free!
Haven't had a chance to use yet, but first impression (first time ever I own a CV lens) is that it's built like a tank! Heavier than I thought but that means high quality. Balance on a7rm3 very well.
Sorry I have a stupid question: what is the easy way to attach/detach this lens to/from camera? Everywhere on the lens/barrel can be rotated so I had hard time to hold to attach it into body :-). Never own this lens before.

Thanks
It's kinda of tricky to mount and unmount. (like the Loxias)
Prepare yourself to be in wow with this lens!
It's one of those deals where it's hard to get it on and you won't want to take it off. The lens being hard to work is its psyop against you deserting it for another. These manual focus lenses are far craftier than commonly believed. They test you out to see if you measure up for MF.
Being non-mainstream, they have to be cleverer to compete with the mindless AF hordes. You would not believe what mine get up to to stay on the camera. Their ploys include taking superior images and delivering sublime levels of feedback. It's why Loxias and older CZs have aperture rings like one millimeter from the mount. Solution is simple: pay more attention to them. Work with them, not against. Win-win.
After an 30 mins playing with it tonight, I feel MF gives me back enjoyment (and challenge) of photography. So far I like the lens. So sharp wide open!! The weather will be nice tomorrow so I will take it outdoor. Thanks
I finally saw a good deal and picked one up for $1040au ($800us) with shipping. Amazing lens! I really hope Voigtländer produce similar lenses. 125/2.5 and 180/4 would be amazing.
