Northern Canada November 2015

A polar bear and her cub sleep as they wait for the ice to form as snow blows behind them.
Perhaps my favourite scene from the trip, they seemed to be conserving energy and spent a good deal of time resting saving their remaining fat reserves.

Sweet...in the very sentimental sense of the word. I know I shouldn't anthropomorphize but it's hard not to with this very compelling image.
