I have not used this lens much and for sure not for macro work, wanted something to replace the common 50mm prime but not willing to fork out the big money for a Sigma (not to mention size) or a not that great 50/1.4G I opted for the 60 and was pleasantly surprised at both speed and rendering, works very well for male portraiture and it's focus pace does well even for my kinda candid way of shooting.

The AF 60mm f2.8 micro ? With 8 elements in 7 groups ? Still useable on a bellows. Poor autofocus, though tolerable for non-macro work once you engage the range delimiter.
Or the AF-S 60mm f2.8 micro ? With 12 elements in 9 groups ? Very fast autofocus, but no range delimiter and can no longer be used in a purely mechanical context only ?
It makes no sense to have a thread about both lenses at the same time because they arent actually related.
