p.2 #4 · Haines, Alaska, Bald Eagle and more ( 20+ images)
You got a bunch of terrific images! I like many of them, but I will express what is probably a minority opinion. I like #4! The detail in the head, body and feet is nice, and I really like the tight cropping which makes it feel like the wing tip is nearly in your face. A nice bit of drama.

Wonderful set of images...of the eagle shots I love 22 and 23. I'm more of a fan of the reaction shots between the birds rather than the straight flight or feeding shots...not that I don't like those, you've got many wonderful ones here. The mood of the landscape shots are great, and I agree they'd be nice to see converted to B&W.

Very nice Faizan. I think 2 might also look great as a B&W conversion. In a number of these you have wing tips or tails a bit close to the edge of the frame for my taste ~ Ron
Thanks Ron. I taken your suggestion and converted a few in B&W and added some space on the sides

Wonderful images, gorgeous scenery and of course the baldies...I am thinking of going next fall, would love to get some tips and suggestions on the best time to go, etc.

Great shots. I almost came down that weekend for just a one day trip on Saturday but then couldn't get past 8hrs of driving in one day and a full day shooting. Too bad we could have met up.
Haines is much better in light clouds as the sun is the wrong direction and back/side lighting after 11AM usually. I had no snow on the ground for my weeks in earlier November. Looks like you had a little but the magical years are when the snow is everywhere and you get a beautiful bounce light to lighten the underwings.
This year was one of the slowest years I've seen. But for a first timer, I'm sure it was an awesome experience. Us pseudo locals are a depressing lot because we've experienced the golden days in years past and we are jaded and grumpy with anything less.

Awesome images, Faizan! While I love all images, including the landscape ones, but the portrait in No. 5 and the snow cap mountain in the background in No. 10 are gorgeous but No. 11 stands truly out for me.
