I really like how the ice catches the hues of the water and sun. That little bit of water motion inside it adds a lot of interest too.
How cold does it have to get to freeze ice water on a beach like that?

They're not frozen from sea water. Actually seawater is quite hard to freeze relative to fresh water. They're broken off pieces from larger glacial ice
