It felt mysterious yet exciting to travel this windy road into Sequoia National Park last week. Seemed to be a photo op at every curve but not enough turnouts and no shoulder. Only a narrow elevation zone of a few hundred feet supported the Dogwoods. Fog was the icing.

I love the mood in this. Curved roads are so cool, and the mist and dogwoods really add up to a special shot.

Did you try climbing on top of your sportsmobile and shooting down at the road a bit?

Very nice, Jeffrey! I like the mood in this too. It's the sort of thing I often skip, but then later wish that I had taken the time to capture. This was worth the stop!
