These are amazing! Hard to believe Poland (I hope?) can be so beautiful ... but yeah I'm from the flatlands - Mazowsze, so I guess I'm biased .
Thank you for your kind words. These are late autumn foggy landscapes taken at the foot of Góry Sowie (Owl Mountains),Lower Silesia,Poland.50km South-West from my home city Wrocław.
Mazowsze (Mazovia) is flat, but not everywhere.I especially like the area between Płock and Włocławek with picturesque Vistula river bends, cliffs, hills and forests. The region with great history too.Płock, which hardly anybody knows, was even a capital of Poland between 1079 and 1102,when Prince Władysław The 1st Herman ruled Poland. The mood of it is still clearly felt on the Tumskie Hill (Wzgórze Tumskie) near the cathedral, looking down on the Vistula.

Ronny, I continue to be amazed with your insect photos. Either you have some pet dragonflies or you have a real talent for close-up photography. I suspect the latter. Keep 'em coming! I'm enjoying each and every one of them.

Looking at a Great Egret in breeding plumage standing on a log with an Alligator to the right and behind. Wading birds have to be careful, if they fall in and are seen by alligators, they will be eaten.
Cropped from the left, tripod mounted 100-400mm GM set to 300mm and A7rIII, silent shutter.
ISO 100, f5.6 1/320 second.

The very first 4 test shots from a new 100-400GM I received yesterday. Don't know why I waited this long to get one :-) May have misfocused a bit on the first one though.

^^ Nice one. Would like to some behind the scene shots. Do you use extension tubes or just the bare lens.
Here is my first outing with the lens. Sun was almost setting before I could reach my shooting location so just grabbed a few shots from the side of the road. 20210821_Napa_Valley_0018 by Vishi A, on Flickr
