Fairly heavily cropped; tripod mounted 100-400mm GM set to 400mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f5.6, 1/160 second.
Exposure corrected +0.10 Stops.

Thank you! I was born in the former Soviet Union, in Kazakhstan to be exact. I lived in Ukraine for 3 years where I finished the high school. I left Russia 29 years ago. Ruthenium is a metal I have been using professionally (still work with the compounds of this element). The element was, of course, named after the region (Latinized): Ruthenia.

I'm not certain about this bird's identification. I've had suggestions of female Summer Tanager and Orange-crowned Warbler. It was likely passing through (migrating) central North Carolina when I spotted him/her. Any ideas?
