Very cute. I actually rely more on the 135. I love folks posting images. I don’t care where they go. I’m just happy to see people enjoy all of this. Btw I have had several members trying to help out. Love you folks it’s why I’m here is the friendship
love you too man, enjoy those pills after the surgery !!!!
peace and love!
I just wanted to post one example of a backlit shot, where this lens clearly shines.
Well, as you can see the sun is coming from directly over this boy's head.
he is standing about three to four feet from these bushes, which seems crazy, looking at this.
~5:30 PM EDT
Finally, B&H is now processing my order!!! See the following:
"Order Status: In Stock, Order Sent To Warehouse"
And earlier today their "Customer Service" person said it was still backordered and could not provide information.
Really interesting how poor their internal communication must be. Even on a new item that has a lot of people waiting for a pre-release you think they would make an effort to communicate better.
Also I think this is the second holiday they have had a hot new item scheduled for delivery right after returning from vacation. I think it was the A7iii last April.
Why are they not able to work with Sony to move these kind of release up? Is it Sony USA that is the problem? After all its been available in other countries for at least a week I think.
Just FYI I’ve seen this many times . If your looking for stock. BH will post it if in stock. Some folks even here moved on . So if your looking keep your eyes out
B&H sent for me as well....no overnight. Actually leaving for a trip to Mexico in the morning...good news is it'll give me a reason to go to work Monday as it'll be sitting on my desk when I get there (hopefully!).
Glad for the end of the day of B&H radio silence everyone! This thing is ridiculously good. I'm using 4:1 zoom for editing and it looks like I'm drilled into the photos 1:1. A few more, no lens corrections, ISO 640, f1.8, some region corrections to fix my poor exposure control.
Love it. I know every one wants to shoot wide open, I get it I do too. But when you have bokeh balls in the frame love to see more sample at F2 and maybe even at F2.8 . Like to see how much separation is happening outside of rounder bokeh balls. That’s a great test the members can do . Just shoot and post.
Lol! Day 2 is for f2.2-2.8. But you are right, we'll get prettier bokeh stopped down a bit.

After my 40 day wait following a mid-March pre-order, Adorama came through with an overnight shipment and a delivery at 9:30 this morning. Of course, it figures that it rained hard all day, so I resorted to mundane shots of household items in rather dark natural lighting conditions.
