I've never been out in the western region of the USA. Photographs of desert areas and cacti that I usually see are flat, hilly, or rock-strewn. I don't think I've ever seen them growing on the nearly vertical sides of a rock/mountain as this image shows. Very interesting for me. Nice shots and thanks for sharing!!!

Would like to see the mountains shot wider to bring in some of the surrounding landscape to give the mountains perspective. Love the glow on them.
