Charles, You are having fun with Z6 great images as always. Keep them coming.
Sun star set with 35mm f1.8S Z7, incredible lens.
Thank you Michael Great shots and just love B&W conversions with the sunstars. Yes I am having lots of fun as I am finding my way around the Z6.
Based on this thread, and yourself Michael I am also trading some more older F mount lenses for the 35/1.8 S tomorrow I have decided to run with the trio, 35S, 50S and 85S and cull many other lenses. Still I will keep my 20/1.8G, 24 Art, 28E, 58G, 105E, 100/2.8 Macro and 70-200E with TC 1.7 II. This is more than enough... for now anyway! My two manual lenses are the Nikkor 50/1.2 Ais and R 50 Cron.

Agreed, these shots had me wondering what the problem is... nice work Charles.
Thank you Mathieu Your shot does not looked overbaked as photography is always your personal expression and how you feel about the scene you have experienced. With portrait photography, skin tones keep us honest in part, but with landscapes a lot is open to how you feel about the scene. I am sure in the US with fall coming the colors are amazing.
For landscapes there are certain lenses that seem to pull colors out of nowhere, the likes of ZA 135/1.8, ZE 100MP, ZE 21 just to name a few, as Zeiss seem to give the effect of looking through rose colored glasses whereas Leica lenses were a lot more subtle and less contrast and glow in the older lenses used wide open.
I have not done enough landscape to see where the Z series lenses slot in... yet.
Today I now have the 35/1.8 S added to the final trio after I traded a few more F mount lenses. I am absolutely blown away by the quality and feel of all three, 35/1.8 S, 50/1.8 S and 85/1.8 S. I did have my doubts...
Today my son, wife and two grand kids arrived on the Gold Coast this afternoon.
Just a few family snaps. My son Daniel is still an ardent user of the Sony A7r with a few lenses and he also love the Z6 combo's.
