I used a demo. It looks like they are now discontinued (aside from the one selling at Amazon) and the software was sold to Boris FX. It uses an identical interface to the Tiffen DFX app, except that BorisFX Optics changed the filter names and categories a bit and added more filters. (It still includes diffusion and mist options) https://borisfx.com/products/optics/?collection=optics&product=optics#features
Did Tiffen make you buy multiple versions of the software in the right filter size for all your lenses? Maybe that was their undoing!
Another diffusion filter you all might consider is the Dream FX Filter by Prism Lens FX, which adds some bloom to highlights, especially with hard backlighting, and it does a pretty good job keeping resolution intact. Compared to a Black Pro Mist, it is seemingly less intense than a 1/4, doesn’t affect the contrast as much, and it does not use black particles so it will not create speckled bokeh. Unfortunately, it only comes in a 77mm filter size so it might not be the best choice for a smaller lens. I’m thinking about getting a Black Pro Mist to do some comparisons and possibly to use in softer lighting conditions.
We have gotten a lot of snow this last week. Took these during a walk near home a couple of days ago. (Also posted in the big Sony FE thread.)
A7II and CV 75mm f/1.5

Thank you Fred! The weather was absolutely awful (besides the heavy snowfall there was a strong wind too), but driving snow gives an interesting effect to photos, so it was worth it.
For those who are adapting this lens to a Leica SL/SL2/SL2-S, what lens are you setting to activate the IBIS, the 75/2 APO or the 75/1.4 Lux? Does it really matter if you shoot only in DNG (RAW)?
Also, Thank You Fred for fixing the web code to allow us to edit our profiles again!
Lovely portraits, Fred. I’m thinking of investing in the Cobalt Image profiles. I’m probably revealing my ignorance as to how the profiles work but I was wondering if you chose the D93 Monochrom CCD profile rather than the D65 (Western Europe / Northern Europe) profile because the California light is stronger and harsher?

Thank you genji.
I choose the d93 just because I liked the effect for that specific portrait.
The code is just for the illuminant of the scene. Here is more info for reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_illuminant
D65 is the standard for srgb, daylight etc.
D93 is just a blu neon illuminant and this is the purpose of the profile set...
There is no rule though. I used the D93 on daylight because I liked it. :-)
I do enjoy using many Cobalt profiles. I have a Fuji, Kodak and Monochrome set.
