We live a little over an hour away from Letchworth so my wife and I decided to take the drive this afternoon to check out fall colors. She gets antsy when I have my camera so these are just grab shots on our walk, all handheld. For convenience I brought along my 24-120 F4 and the 70-300 AF-P VR FX. Still, I thought some may enjoy viewing our gorgeous Western NY fall foliage.
All comments and critiques are welcome

Beautiful photos. We were there this summer, and it looks even better in fall. Did you carry your tripod along? That was the one thing I did not do when we went, and all my shots of the falls had to be at higher SS :-(. Love how milky your fall photos are. Not to hijack your thread, but here's mine in some harsh light.

It's all good. Exactly what I told my wife as she was giving me dirty looks Every other time I've been there it's been sunny so it was kind of nice to experiment with the slow shutter speeds today. Nope, no tripod. Like I said, I had to just snap some quick stuff while we were wandering. Thanks for the input !
I should have been more specific. They are all of the Middle Falls from different vantage points. The last is from Inspiration Point.

Nice Falll colors. What is the name of that waterfall and where is it?
This is the Middle Falls shot from Inspiration Point in Letchworth State Park in Castille NY. I've seen some amazing shots taken at Letchworth from other members on this forum and every year I say I'm going to spend a few days here to really try and do it justice. Maybe next year
Some great memories. I used to travel there each year as a child as my dad grew up in Mt. Morris, the town the entrance to the park is. I remember so many times going through the park having lunch at the Glen Iris Inn and was glad to see from your photos that the train trestle was NOT removed as I'd heard they were planning to dismantle it. It is literally an icon of the area. I no longer live within driving distance of there and my relatives I grew up with are all gone now. But that beautiful park remains. Great to see. your shots are so nicely color rich.
Good memories of that park and other Upstate scenes, although never visited in the Fall season. Nice work on your part, but sad your wife isn't more supportive of your hobby. My late wife was very patient with me, began helping with composition, eventually getting her own camera and loving it.

Well, she's put up with me for 43 years so I'm more than willing to cut her a little slack
Wonderful set! I have never been to that part of the country during the fall colors season. Had hoped to this year, but well, there is this little global pandemic thing getting in the way. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all for the positive feedback. It's very much appreciated. Especially since I really wasn't expecting to come back with anything worth sharing. My wife and I just wanted to get out of the house and I even considered leaving the camera at home as I knew I wouldn't have the time to really explore. My wife's health has deteriorated in the last couple years and I don't like to push her beyond her limits.
