Sunrises are rare in NW Ohio in winter so I was glad the opportunity raised itself. the old abandoned bridge is 3 miles from my home. the bridge is near a metro park but its a bit tricky to get to especially in winter. I almost tripped over a young doe that was sleeping on the ground. we startled each other for sure. Steam and fog were everywhere that morning.

they closed the access from the top by the overlook recently due to someone getting injured. you can walk from Farnsworth metropark (which is what I did) its not roped off. there is an entrance closed sign now by the overlook, you can also climb down by the bridge itself when its not covered in ice. The fog gives a nice mood, warm against the cold of the snow. Assuming your verticals are accurate, it also looks like someday this bridge will end up in the river....

They had a meeting a year ago about demolishing it. its going to be removed at some point but I think Covid 19 has wrecked their budget (ODOT) I live 3 miles from it and trying to get as many pics I can in the time it has left.

Three thoughts on this one...
First, I like the photograph and the effect quite a bit. The quality of atmosphere and light contribute a great deal, but so do the low camera position and the wide angle lens that turns the bridge into the powerful diagonal.
Compositionally, as I alluded to above, the image seems very strong. However, I feel like it would be worth experimenting with cropping the left edge a bit, and excising (or at least narrowing) the material to the right of the bridge's end. The photo is about the bridge, and that area seems to distract a bit from that.
Finally, while we all like really big images, yours is posted at such a large size that I cannot see the whole thing here on my (fairly normal sized) laptop screen. In other words, I have to imagine the image as a whole since I cannot see it that way. I'd consider posting somewhat smaller images (in line with the FM policy, too, by the way), possibly with a text link for those who want to see it even larger.
