I feel like this picture was one of those moments where it was nicer to sit and watch rather than take a picture.. but, as a photographer I also couldn't pass up the chance to snap a pic to remember that moment.
I live about 10-12 miles from the top of Mingus as the crow flies. This is one shot I always wanted to take. I used to drive for FedEx, now on disability, and Prescott Valley was my area. If I had a delivery for the Methodist Camp I would take my lunch at the parking lot at the top or the lake. Beautiful and quiet area!
I really like this shot. In looking at it, I can almost feel myself in the picture and at this location; it takes a special capture to convey that feeling. Nicely done and thanks for taking and sharing the shot.
