Imagine my surprise to find an Orange tree? I was out in a Wildlife preserve when I came across a citrus tree that was at the end of the season for oranges. Of course, I had to try one and it was hard as a rock...
I wouldn't be surprised to find an orange tree anywhere in FL, but if you were in NM, then yeah, nice find! Interesting they were so hard though. I would think over-ripened fruit get soft and mushy....
