Nice to see you finally got the 35GM.
Looks like this will be a keeper and will finally solve the AF-issues you had with the Batis CF. Looking forward to see some pictures!
AF and low light issues .
I was thinking when I pushed the buy button that you'd have something to say if it ever came out I got the lens :P . Unfortunately, sick atm and we're in a half-year period of longer shifts at the office so I'm quite behind on editing.
The picture of the taxi on the bridge (with the red fence)... was it really taken at f/1.4?
Meticulous framing as usual. Thank you for the images, again.
I sold my 35GM as I found I like the 50/1.4 GM better. Sometimes i wish I could keep everything.

Thank you.The exif says so,though yes, it does not look like this. The misleading look may have been introduced in PP (offset, gamma, vibrance).
As for GM 35/1.4 - I still keep it.And have sold 50/1.4 GM after a few months, keeping GM 50/1.2,as it's output looks more interesting to me.
Pumping un an old discussion, but 35GM is hands down my favorite lens in FE line-up. Balances nicely with the camera and image quality is top from wide open. I use 35GM for everything from portraits to landscapes.
I was slightly worried about the highlights when shooting this at f/1.6. To my eyes it worked out fine. Positiver surprise
