I love striking a conversation with small business owners. I love to hear their story / journey.
This lady was so kind to sit with us and after I mentioned how much I loved her establishment and products.
At the end of the long chat, I asked if I could take her portrait in her environment.

Photography is not just about capturing an "image" digitally or analog on film. It is about "seeing" what is within the image.
Well done Andy!

It was in front of Webster Hall, which was the "Ritz" back in the day. They still show smaller acts. It was a corporate TV marketing event last night. All the other clubs that were in the area have been turned into NYU dorms or high end clothing shops.

At the dead end of that street it isn't where I'd expect an abandoned burned wreck. It looks like an engine fire, not sure if it was kicked off by a collision first.

I seldom photograph people, occasionally architecture, cityscape, but I wanted to find a place to share this find.
Street but not urban?
Transportation?
Photojournalism?
Taken during an outing to photograph Sandhill Cranes. The rancher needed to clear the road along his fence so he could move cattle from one pasture to another. He was very friendly and volunteered that he was happy for us to photograph the short trail drive.
