Just west of Las Vegas is Red Rock Canyon. As a local I have hundreds of photos with colorful red rocks under perfect blue skies. During our annual monsoon season we are treated to wonderful storm clouds covering the area. I couldn't resit a quick trip to capture the beauty!
All images were converted from RAW with ACR with the final edit work done in PS. There was a hiker in the distance on image 2 and small sign on image 4 that I removed. A curves adjustment layer was added before saving. I was really pleased with what the camera gave me, there was not much editing needed on this batch.

Nice work. First and last for me. I really like the layers of color in the first.
Thank you Jim. As I mentioned it such a treat for us to see a contrasty cloudy sky. This sounds crazy but you really can get tired of boring old blue skies!
