After several years of delays (we all know why), I made my first African safari to Botswana this July. I was truly impressed with how close we were able to get to the wildlife and how disinterested they were in our presence. Here are a few favorites.
Absolutely stunning images. Great light, beautiful compositions and African wildlife at their best. The first shot of the male lion drinking just takes my breath away.

Oh my those look good and well done. Are you on a preserve of some kind to be able to see that many different animals.
I spent 12 days in Botswana in multiple national parks and game reserves. I was amazed at how much wildlife we saw and how close we were able to get. If you are interested, I've been writing a series of blog posts about the experience.
