This lake in south eastern Germany is somewhat of a challenge. A one hour ferry ride is followed by about an hour of hiking. There are strict rules for this national park: people are not allowed to stay overnight and the last ferry back leaves before 6pm (so no golden/blue hour shots). Apparently even thermal cameras are in use and if trespassers are detected at night, they will be force-evacuated by helicopter and charged the whole 'rescue operation'.
I was thus extra motivated to catch the last ferry, this was taken in a rush while already running late.
That whole trip last month was more about city and people, so I only had a 40mm with me. Never tried a non-UWA lens for landscape, and for the most part that day in nature confirmed why I much prefer wider lenses for such scenarios. But I like how this image turned out, the framing is more intimate and cozy. https://i.imgur.com/7fMclYp.jpg
