Nice ones, how do you like the 55/1.2? I’ve been tempted to pick one up for double use on my film and mirrorless bodies.
Thanks! I like the 55/1.2, but it's a pretty faithful recreation of a 1960s design, so don't expect it to be sharp wide-open
The build quality is beautiful, as is usually the case with Voigtländer lenses. Only downside is that it's a bit heavy, so I still pick the Nikon Ai-S 50mm f1.4 more often. It balances well with the F2, but not so much with smaller bodies like the FM / F-301. Surprisingly nice on the F65 though, because that one has a pretty deep grip for a film body (and given the Voigtländer has electronic contacts, it also meters on the F65).
Thanks!
Just got myself a really nice copy of the 50/1.4 Ais, so as usual it’s more of a want than need. But I was also envisioning it mounted on my F2.
We’ll see. Right now the general state of the economy (global, local and personal) is too much of an unknown. So it’ll have to wait regardless.

Nice, deep tone is my favorite of the mono presets.
I was just gonna say the opposite. Nice images, but I really do not like the Deep Tone setting. The standard monochrome one though I think is one of the more pleasing I've tried so far, regardless of system.
