They are all shot very close and almost wide open. I really like to explore the "weak" spot of every lens where they show the charachter a lot. Usually they are soft and almost nothing is in focus but it's great fun. No filters are used(I simply don't have any fitting this size).
Sometimes there are other leaves in front of the lower part of the lens making it more dreamy. There is also some play with curves in Capture One to make the "matte" look.
Thanks for the reply. I'm familiar with the blooming effect at wide apertures in close-up shots with the CV 1.2 50, but I've never consciously used it. In your photos, it seemed so pronounced that I suspected an additional filter.
