No updates for me from BH. I ordered a Silver that was confirmed at 19mins after the pre-order launch. Still keeping my fingers crossed.
Of course I live in Tahoe and we are about to get a storm dropping up to 10 feet of snow which means no mail or deliveries for the next several days. . At least the skiing will be great next week!
I ordered at around 2:10 am on the 20th, Mine still shows back ordered. I chatted with B&H. They said they won't tell me my position in line. And they don't guess when it will ship. Oh well. My first preorder that early EVER. Was hoping I would have it for a trip in May.
Unsure of other Adorama pre-orders, but mine went through at 10:24 (PST)
My order status has switched to processing from back-ordered. Tbd if that turns into tracking today or tomorrow but hoping that is the case
Ordered in black from B&H, confirmation email received at 1:05AM EST. Still showing backordered. Reached out via chat to try and suss out where I'm at in line (I've paid already and figured that it would be a kind thing to do for the interest-free loan I've given them) but was told they don't give out that information.
This was my first pre-order from B&H and I'm pretty sure it will also be my last.

Can only beat the "buy from an LCS and not B&H" drum so much, and this is why.
I didn't think the charge you until it is being shipped? I did not get charged yet. Albeit, I didn't get my order in until 10am MT on 2/20, so I'm probably not getting it until 2026.

I actually checked with my LCS first thing that night and saw nothing available at the time, which led me to ordering with B&H.
Swung by the LCS website roughly an hour later and saw they had added pre-orders, so I hopped in that line at that point as I'd rather give them the money. Will be cancelling my B&H order if they come through first.

You have to talk to them BEFORE official preorders go live and get on paper lists. Next time!

Yep. My local store couldn’t tell me where in line I was, but they did say they got 15 cameras today, and were told by their Fuji rep that they would get about that every week or two until demand was satisfied. My store had about 70 total preorders. So even if I was last (I’m not), it’d probably only be a month or so. They also said that a hard order with money down or web purchase would get priority.

Indeed, large stores receive more orders, but they also receive more cameras in each batch. So, there's likely a formula at play, but it's difficult to determine which one will result in faster delivery of your camera.
