I'm done doing simple work for unsavvy people
Let me be very clear since several people have PM'd me today: not responding to any more of these.
Good for you. How many people are on this board simply to flip cameras like these or other good condition equipment? I've often wondered if there are people buying for retailers, even.
I got bored and looked at FujiFilms quarterly earnings-
No way they are going to ramp production-They have 8% (not horrible but not great) profit margins and a huge investment in more capacity would put them closer to the red-
Their stock is at a 5 yr high with almost just above 5X increase- They need to show sustained growth and continued success. FujiFilm can make more, they won't. Its bad for business to invest in it. They need to keep selling them and the current pace and increase net margins to continue making money for their shareholders.
So they will keep trickling out and the CEO will keep dancing around talking about the dials are hard to make
I’m in my 4th month of waiting. Stupid me, I only preordered from one store … what was I thinking.
In the time that’s gone by I’ve more or less decided I don’t want it now, that I’d rather out that much money into something with changing lenses in the Fuji world.
That said im keeping the preorder to possibly trade it for some other setup, but I won’t sell it above cost, fwiw, should I need to.

Have you received your 100VI yet? I'm just curious as to how many here are still waiting for one.
I was also foolish and only pre-ordered from 1 store (in New England). I pre-ordered in March, so I was behind the announcement and start of pre-orders... still waiting and the store says probably not until the new year...
My March 2nd order from Adorama arrived Nov, 13th. It's definitely a sweet little walk around camera, wish I had it for the London trip I just got back from.
Congrats. I'm still waiting for my February 23rd 11:33 am order from B&H for the Silver version.

Holy cow. I can't believe orders from launch are still being filled. I ordered locally so was able to get mine about a month after pre-order, but then I had to have it repaired under warranty out of the box which took about a month because it had to be sent in twice (misaligned sensor).
I thought Fujifilm was ramping up production on this camera, and yet we are still waiting on early orders to be fulfilled? Honestly really disappointing from them.

This was visible from 100 miles away...note that most of the preorders talked about in this thread are from B&H. There's a reason I was advocating for getting on an LCS list instead.
My launch day +1 order from BH just got fulfilled last week. I know someone who ordered, I think on the 2nd or 3rd day and BH gave her an estimate of mid Jan.
I just saw that Amazon is selling the X100VI for $2200 and it's in stock. That's an exorbitant price but my question is how they can have a supply of them when no one else seems to. Or it just may be that they only have one in stock and it sits there because no one will pay that price.

Amazon usually writes the list price next to their price on an item and note proudly in red the percentage you will save. In this case they should put "List price $1599" next to $2199 and write in red "+37.5%!"
