So much handwringing from people that don't have the slightest clue about what they're talking about.
Any X100VI you see in stock on Amazon is being sold by a 3rd party seller at scalper's prices. Any X100VI you'd buy directly from Amazon will be MSRP or lower. Nothing about this is "suspicious", it's how Amazon has worked since the beginning of having 3rd party sellers.
There is zero reason to be concerned about buying gear from Amazon (box packing issues aside) IF you buy items that say "Sold by Amazon". You need to exercise more caution when dealing with the 3rd party sellers, but the vast majority of the time they are just fine.
If you buy ANYTHING from Amazon or a 3rd party and it arrives as a brick in a box, or used when sold as new, etc, Amazon is required to make it right. Your credit card company will back you up too.

Yeah, no handwringing here. Just an opinion on a photo forum. But you do you, Scott. 🙄🙄🙄
The black version way above MSRP is Ships and Sold by Amazon and has been in stock for over two days.

The availability of the X100VI in US must be a market disruption. In Europe (at least in Finland), the camera is available immediately. The price is also lower than in the US, which is a bit surprising considering that VAT was just raised here.
That being said, I am quite happy with my X100V. It would be nice to have IS. But frankly, if thinking improvements, I would prioritize larger sensor.

It's not available in Sweden. The large web shops expect it to be available in mid december though.
After nearly 10 months since I pre-ordered the Fuji X100VI, it finally shipped from B&H Photo yesterday. Honestly, I had forgotten I even pre-ordered it!
It’ll be here on Monday, but now I’m wondering if I should even keep it, given that I recently purchased the X-Pro3 along with a bunch of Fuji lenses.
Here’s my current kit: X-Pro3, CV 18/2.8, CV 27/2, Laowa 10/4, CV 23/1.2, CV 50/1.2, TTArtisan 35/0.95, Fuji 27/2.8, Zeiss 32/1.8, and Fuji 70-300 + extenders.
I’m considering selling all my Fuji gear in exchange for the X100VI, since I already have a Leica and Sony bodies with similar focal lengths.
What do you think? Should I keep the X100VI or stick with what I’ve got?
I just spent two and a half weeks in France using the X100VI and an XT5. I found the 100vi a superb performer. I also have the V, and I’m not sure what build quality issues Scott is referring to. Perhaps he’ll elaborate.
We already went through this. Almost like I made an entire thread about it!
