I picked up a mint Zeiss Contax 35-70/3.5. While I plan to use it on my Contax RTS II, why not test it out on the GFX 100S II. The lens vignettes from 35 to roughly 41mm but it's fine the rest of the zoom range.

Great shots Tim! I like the colors and contrast a little more on the 20-35, do think that is real or just small difference in light and exposure?
Thanks! No doubt the 20-35 is the better lens, but the light was also changing and the 35-70 shot was from a different spot. You can kind of see the same thing in my Sony shots I took along with these.

I love old tools. The pipe vice is probably a JH Williams, did you happen to see any info in between the top mounting holes? Great stuff Dan.

I am not happy with this composition with minimal post processing., GFX100s ii GF45-100 Edited in ACR.
It was a very "angry" morning as a storm swept through my area and trees were downed and the small town had intermittent electric power in the Safeway. Outdoor sun light was fast moving but never near sunny.

I went back to my files from back in July that I had not processed yet. I found a series from my visit to Ucluelet up on Vancouver Island that I'm glad I processed. GFX 100S II, mostly the GF 45-100, and processed in DxO Elite 9, Photoshop, and Color Efex 8 (from the Nik series). This has become my favorite destination for medium format photography. The scenery is incomparable, the weather moody and evocative, and the entire area just exudes tranquility. I go back next week and will hopefully have more opportunities for imaging.
