What an beautiful image Ketang! I did a full stop, admired the photo, and did a little mind travel to the Back Bay. Its been a few years, and your photo made me realize I actually miss going to Boston. I hope that becomes a large print on display somewhere.

Thank you so much. It's a wonderful city. I am hoping to print one from this viewpoint at some point. I keep praying for something amazing with the clouds. There was some drama ~2 years back and I'm glad I had the GFX on me:

It's been three months since I added the GFX100S II, and I think I am about 95% comfortable with the settings, and have customized the camera to my liking.
The remaining questions are concerned with the out-of-camera JPG/HIF files:
-- Are these worth recording along with the raw files?
-- If there is something potentially useful about the out-of-camera JPG/HIF, what are the best settings for landscape, city, and street photography?
I have tried PROVIA and REALA-ACE, and wasn't too impressed by the visual outcome.
However, Velvia (VIVID) looks promising. I like the contrasty look where the highlights seem to be well-retained.
Perhaps the shadows could be less dark. This makes me wonder if I should set D-Range Priority to Weak (it is OFF now)?
I believe that D-Range Priority applies only to JPG/HIF and has no effect on the raw files, correct?
Here is an example of an out-of-camera HIF file shot with Velvia and WB Daylight (converted to JPG for posting here), followed by a JPG obtained from the raw file using "From camera (Velvia/VIVID)" rendering in DxO Photolab 9 and some manual corrections.
The rendering in Photolab 9 seems to be warmer than in camera.

Our local turkeys are my Labrador's nemesis. They don't like to fly and run surprisingly fast. My dog finally surprised a pair and flushed them, this one quickly landed in a near tree. Then gave us a glare as we walked by.

I was out on the water in Prince Rupert, BC, Canada, heading for a different shot for work and was fortunate to get these on the way. Four shots with the GF35-70 on the way there and one with the GF 100-200 on the way back.

I have been experimenting with the settings that influence out-of-camera images from my GFX100S II.
So far, the best results for landscapes I obtained with FILM SIMULATION Velvia/VIVID and TONE CURVE S -1 (to lift the shadow a bit).
Also, I like exporting images from the camera as 16-bit TIF files, rather than JPG or HEIF.
The reason for this preference is that the 16-bit TIF files are more amenable to slight corrections (e.g. exposure) in post.
Here are four examples - photos taken while walking through Victoria park in Kitchener yesterday.
The lens was Fujinone GF20-35mm F4.

Although I am not the cruise type of vacation person, my son Gabriel wanted to do a cruise for his 16th birthday. Gabriel invited his best friend JoJo and it was well worth it, Gabriel had a great 16th birthday. The ship docked at Nassau, overall it was a fun mini vacation.
