Thanks! Sunset Blvd is just so photogenic. 🌇 It's a walk I hadn't done in a while.
I just left the camera powered on in my pocket for quick snap shooting. There's no lens cap anyway and no retractable lens to break. It auto off'd on me only a few times the entire walk.
These are surprisingly fun cameras to shoot with. These are perfect for kids who are keenly interested in composing as opposed to just taking photos because of the need to download the photos. Way better than an iphone for sure! Very much like the Kodaks of the 60’s and 70’s. Definitely get the waterproof case it works great!

I like not knowing what the photos look like until much later. Weirdly fun. Same with film.
You beat me to it! Haha. Ad came up on my Facebook feed. (Wonder how they know I have a Camp Snap??) Next up: auto focus, a playback screen, 24mp, f/2.8 aspherical lens and a $1,200 price tag.
The Pro looks like it crosses into "these photos won't look like just a novelty in 10 years" territory. I might cop one of these for my boy and see what he can come up with. He never liked chimping and far prefers using my Yashi T4 to any digital cam.

Yeah lol, it was announced today so the algorithm was pushing a new ad.
I think this is a good update. It isn't changed from the original concept much at all. Just upgraded specs and a dial to switch filters instead of messing with the SD card.
I have an Olympus EM1 mk2 and used to be pretty into photography. I still am, to an extent, but I'm drawn to the Camp Snap for it's simplicity, especially while bicycle touring. It can be a pain to get the EM1 out and I really dislike using my phone. So with that said, I am not looking for a professional camera here but a fun format for snapshots. Would you recommend keeping it cheap with the current model or going with the new "pro" for a few extra bucks?

The original CS is a fun camera but with lots of flaws. I like playing around with it when going out and that's about it (tho that's kind of the point). CS Pro looks promising but for sure wait for the reviews before ordering one.
I preordered the Pro, as I think it'll be fun to have my son review it since he's more the target market of such things. It's crazy that they got the xenon flash right when the Fuji X-Half didn't

Pretty dire little piece of kit with one of the worst port covers I've seen in my life...will hand it to the boy and see what he thinks.
I need to see if I can get the default pics to meter darker, because in Texas everything is blown out outdoors midday.

Post some pics taken with it.
(Just saw the updates to the camera! For me it's a pass as I don't care enough to spend $100 when I have the cheapo version that I never use anymore..)
I just ordered the pro. To me it's a cross between Leica M11D, one of the Fuji’s with a dedicated dial for film simulations, and the easy peezy carry everywhere Reto film camera. Dirt cheap and I’ll carry it everywhere when I’m not out and about with one of my M cams.

I was just there a week ago! Had high tea at the Rose Garden Tea Room. Took forever to get reservations!
But alas I used a film camera…
I finally went a couple days ago lol. Brought my GR and Charmera.
My pro just arrived. Here are my first 2 shots. I'm under the weather, but in a few days I'll start carrying the camera everywhere especially my morning bike rides, shooting anything and everything, see what I come up with. It reminds me of my Reto that I love but even better digital instead of time to finish a roll, send it to processing and wait for scans. Also love that there's no LCD - makes the process like shooting film.
I'm really into vintage, but since I look at everything in ACR, I can probably shoot standard and then apply my preset of choice.
