This looks like a northern shoveler. Did you use a lot of noise reduction?

Thanks Morris. I find that when the files are a bit noisy and/or soft, as happens often in low light, Topaz Photo AI really helps. I was skeptical at first but I am now a believer. Good product.

I use Photo AI as well. What I do is sharpen the subject and denoise the background where noise is most noticeable. Not sharpening the subject leaves the detail alone and avoids the smeared look.
