Canon R5, RF 200-800, RF1.4x
Fall Migration Shorebirds feeding on the banks of the Ottawa River.
I had a wonderful few hours at "Ottawa Beach" last week with these little guys. I sat on my little portable stool behind my gear under my umbrella and got rained on 4 times.... an awesome time was had by all!

Nice work Rudy!
Enjoyable video to watch, great audio as usual, with natural sounds and nice music mixed very well.
The contrast with the bigger birds was neat.
Thanks for taking us with you, and we stayed dry!!!

Hi Dave,
Thanks very much for watching. I've been having such a good time being out there on the beach along with several good old photography friends filming and shooting these little shorebirds. The river is too high in most years for us to get any good habitat revealed and thereby attract a lot of migrating shorebirds, but this year we got lucky!
I have another shorebird video I'm working on that should be ready in another week.

Nice surfing videos, Lemmy!
I would guess this is your favorite video subject based on your YouTube name?
Something I've never done but enjoy watching.

Great tracking Lemmy!
The audio seemed like it was custom done just for your video in most of the video.
Focus and IQ was spot on.
Keep them coming.

Thank you Dave. Audio is "Green-Eyed Lady" by Sugarloaf (1970) clocked at 3/4 speed. Free Audacity app is pretty easy to use to alter sound. https://www.audacityteam.org/

Here is a small clip of some loons in New Hampshire. This was all done from the kayak. I used the Canon R1 with the 100-300mm with the 2x. The sound was recorded with the Comica VM40.

Hi Rob,
An outstanding and wonderful to watch wildlife video, Rob!
The IQ and audio are truly exceptional - I loved hearing the Great Horned Owl in the background.
Cheers,
Rudy

Thanks Rudy, it was fun getting out there with them. I had a little more movement on a couple clips than I wanted, as I had my dog with me also on the kayak.

The audio really helped set the mood for the loons.
As usual, excellent IQ.

Excellent video.
You comment that you would like a little less movement, I use DaVinci Resolve to stabilize video and it's excellent. If you haven't already you may want to give it a try.

.
Here's my latest wildlife video. It's 3-minute piece featuring the beautiful and amazing little Pectoral Sandpiper during a pit stop in Ottawa on its journey from the Canadian Arctic to southern South America.
Enjoy!
