I have my first solo photography show coming up shortly at the Soho Photo Gallery in NYC. The subject of the exhibition is people riding bicycles in NYC, specifically in Greenwich Village where I live. With the proliferation of bike lanes and the availability of rental bikes through Citi Bike, thousands of people every day are traversing city streets on bicycles. Over the past 9 months, I've been standing on corners capturing bicyclists as they ride by.
I'm attaching the publicity card that I created for the show. My mom passed away a month ago at the age of 102, and I've dedicated the show to her as you can see on the back of the card. I grew up in the suburbs of NYC and from a young age was always on my bike, the most convenient way to get around town. I'll be posting some additional photos from the show.
Soho Photo Gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday, 1PM to 6PM. All are welcome. If you're in town and considering a visit, let me know and I may be available to meet you there.
Steve, your mother was 102 when she passed on? God bless her!!!
Great street photography Steve! There is always someone giving you the "high sign" whether on foot or mobile!
Really fine images Steve and congrats on your exhibition!

Would love to meet you in person there Marcelo. It's going to be a big party. It's also an opportunity to see what the Soho Photo Gallery collective is all about.
