These are such beautiful birds, I never get tired of photographing them. I love watching their behavior and listening to all the different calls they make.

Thanks, Morris. There's a lady on Youtube called 'Leslie the Bird Nerd' who has some great videos about Bluejays -- she really has studied them carefully.

Thanks, Karl. It is interesting to me that they make so many different sounds. Their loudest calls are generally to warn others of Hawks, etc. -- so they have a purpose to all that noise.
