We saw a few mountain bluebirds while in Badlands National Park. Most were in very hard to photograph locations yet this one worked out.

Such a nice soft but lovely blue and unique feather layering on the first one. Nice find and #2 is really pretty too.

Nice series, Morris! I love that low angle on the first image. Birds are simply amazing -- what a beautiful creature!
