p.1 #1 · Bits of Amsterdam (architecture and street)

It's been ages since I posted in this forum, sorry.

I love the old Amsterdam but for the architecture shots I looked for a few modern corners. And then I mixed in some street photos.

Do we still have to use the limit of 1600px for landscape shots and even lower for portrait orientation?

Reflected buildings

The RAI nhow building

RAI building

Elegant cyclists

Cycling in the park

Just beautiful photography Cedric! The buildings are indeed unique and even more so in a city/Country that has been around a VERY long time. You get that olde world vibe while viewing some modern architecture.
The modern architecture go well with your "call sign"!

Yes I do love the cyclists also!

Many thanks Bill! The buildings were indeed WOW, I'm glad if I could get that feeling in the photos, too!

Thank you Dan! I had a couple of great walks that weekend in Amsterdam, really enjoyed all the variation in what I could see. I've also added another bookstore to my "Bookstores of the World" collection, which I hope to show in an exhibition in the next months.

I LOVE bookstores!! Here in the States they are very rare except in the very big cities!
I spent hours in the olde bookstores sipping a warm brew and reading...Reading from a book has become a lost art here in the US!

Really enjoyable composition on those architecture shots! Really harmonious awareness of the buildings’ lines.

Thank you Ian! I felt that I was getting more inspired as I was walking... fortunately it took me the better part of an hour to get to the most interesting buildings

Much appreciated Parul! These are a fair walk outside the centre. There's another area with modern buildings which I really want to photograph, close to the Court of Appeals, which I recently found by chance as I had business there (not involved in legal proceedings myself, fortunately)

Excellent work with the Voigtländer 10/5.6, which can be a very challenging lens to shoot with, and also perfect subject mater for an ultra-wide.
