This interesting geologic wonder was captured along the Seven Wonders Trail a couple mornings ago in Valley of Fire outside Las Vegas. I'm impressed with this little 14mm Viltrox I recently purchased and brought along on this trip - it was a perfect lightweight companion for hiking this area as well as other images I captured in the Las Vegas area.
Inside the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, Paris. One of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. Second image is a crop of the first to show detail. This lens is sharp!
Jackass Joe's - a little gas station off Interstate 70 in Utah at the Crescent Junction exit for Moab, known for its funky alien vibes and world-famous jerky.

Pleased with the performance of the 14mm. Need to test it against the Voigtlander 15mm.
I am still keeping the CV 15 for its beautiful sunstar if the occasion arises. But it certainly is quite a bit heavier than the Voltrox. I enjoy the beautiful build of those Voigtlanders. The 21 mm f1.4/ has been one of my most used lenses but that thing is heavy!

I hear you, I have the Voigtlander 15mm also now and it’s a beauty, and those sunstars are gorgeous.
The sunstar generated by the CV 15mm and any other CV lenses is indeed nice. But for anything else, IMHO, I prefer the Viltroxx 14mm Air, which is my favorite out of my Viltrox lenses. BTW, I sold my CV 15mm lens already...
The first image was cross posted in the big FE thread but the second one has not been posted...
Has anyone used this lens for interior shots for real estate photography? I currently own the Sony 16-35 PZ f/4 and love it but sometimes I need just a tad bit wider. I have two options that I'm considering:
1) sell the 16-35 and buy the Sigma 14-24
2) Keep the 16-35 and add the Viltrox.
I'd love any and all advice from anyone that has used any of these lenses. Thanks.

Hi Bill, for real estate interiors I personally use the 12-24 and find 12mm focal length is nice to have for bathrooms and small spaces. I did recently use the Viltrox 14mm for some real estate exteriors and it worked great. The distortion is minimal and chromatic aberrations almost none and the lens is very sharp across the fame at f/11 which is the aperture I usually use for this type of work. I definitely would use it for interiors. If there’s anything negative to say about it is it has a fair amount of vignetting. Of your two options above, I’d keep the 16-35 and add the Viltrox. At $199 or less on sale, it’s an excellent option. Otherwise, I’d consider the 12-24mm. I use the f/4 version and my copy is excellent.
A few years ago, I purchased a Laowa 14mm zero-D in EF mount. The Laowa is tiny and pretty sharp. The zero-d feature works great except can be a bit tough to focus at times. Any ultra wide MF lens at F4 is probably similar The Laowa is more expensive at $500. I wonder how these two lenses will compare and compete in the market. I am very satisfied with the Laowa and really enjoy the focal length where appropriate.
