Something I must comment on that confused me for a while has to do with the MY LENSES SELECTION of the GENERAL SECTION.
This section is MEANT to be used if you are trying to attach non-XCD lenses to the camera. There are many boxes to check IF you are trying to mount a non-XCD lens to the X2D Mark II camera.
The MY LENSE section works fine, however, if you take off the non-XCD lens from the camera and remount a standard XCD AND forget to uncheck the lens box, it will mess up your IBIS and you will get endless poorly focused images.
It took me a while to figure this out. I couldnt figure out why my handheld shots were virtually all out-of-focus. I thought perhaps I had a bad copy of the X2D Mark II.
I had forgotten to uncheck a lens or so from the MY LENSES section after replacing the foreign lens with a standard XCD lens and NOT unchecking that. Once I unchecked those boxes, the camera worked fine again.
