I use the 15-45mm as a 15mm prime as it's pretty good at the wide end. The close focus ability of the lens can be useful as well. Perhaps that new 13-33mm will be a solid upgrade in resolution throughout the range.

I was lucky to find a mint used XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR and it’s 240 grams. Came from a kit so the price was good as well. Originally bought for an X-T5 but it’s light enough to use for an X-E5.
It’s internally zoom so it stays the same size.

swidstn, I have a 16-50 mounted on my X-T50 and really like it.
I picked up an "open box" 15-45 which came yesterday. It is now on my X-E5 and I'm eager to see how it performs. From the few test shots I have taken I think it will be a good lens for the camera.

I have been shooting the 15-45 for a few days now on my X-E5. The lens is small, light and sharp. Not having an aperture ring is a negative for me, otherwise I like this lens for a general purpose, walkabout, zoom lens on this camera.

Thinking about a nice small, light, zoom lens for an incoming X-E5 and wondering if the Fuji 15-45mm would be a good lens for that camera. I have a Fuji 23/2.8 which I know would be a great lens for the X-E5.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.
Most any Fuji XF lens is a good lens for that camera if you use it properly to make the image you want to make. What in particular about the 23mm that makes it great?

Jeffrey, the 23mm is one of my favorite Fuji lenes on any of my Fuji cameras. The images I get are stellar.
